For every hummer we saw on this trip 3 where white eared hummingbirds, it is so common! and agressive too, you should see them chasing off ruby throated, amethyst throated and wine throated hummers off from their respective flowers…
It is sometimes hard to picture such small beatiful creatures to have bad tempers…
