Aspiring Shorebirds

Check this out…

Great Tailed Grackles are by far the most abundant and adapted bird in Honduras, anywhere you go you can see them hunt, forrage, walk around the highway searching for scraps thrown from cars or squished insects…and now, aspiring to become part of the Shorebirds. I have never seen this behavior on GTGR´s til´today…..but as I said to the adapted belong the spoils

These GTGR´s where sppoted at the dock in Coyolito (Southern Honduras), where you can clearly see them  on the rocks looking for lil clams and things….I even got a photo of one GTGR chasing a lil crab or something buy it appears I misplaced it…sorry.
